This sentence or a close equivalent is often attributed to Albert Einstein.
We could then believe that for Albert, all is about sciences, and who could object someone whose theories are still seen as the most major advacnce in physics hundred years after his most famous pulbication of 1925 on full relativity theory or else regarding gravitaionnal waves in the universe that he predicted while never being able to test its theory, and that were finally confirmed these past years from data of the new Hobbes telescope?
As human being indeed, we all try to develop and produce, predict and prepare. We all who succeed in doing this proceed with method and care so that the work leads to the best possible results. In our societies, sciences and technologies but also know-hows to reach our goals are fundamentals and groups of humans collaborate with rigourous reflexions and efforts to project their objectives and plans over defined periods of time, and then try to follow their initial gant objectives permanently checked and surveyed with other project management tools over weeks, months or years.
Even the largest teams with the best thinkers and makers will face uncertainties on their ways and human life is definitely not all about Sciences and technologies. It is about many other things, but I like to gather at least many things if not everything into the Art cathegory.
“La Comedia del Arte” or “la société du spectacle” are 2 european references to show that even at the highest levels in our sociteties, and maybe especially at those levels, sciences and technologies are nothing compared to the power of “their” art, which enable them to lead our economies, ou rules and our world.
Everyone has a job or hobbies in which they develop their skills and knowledge, turning them into custom and never perfect creations. These are my own.
